Paradise Bowl in Tacoma has been a valued partner of USAgain since May of 2011. Since then, they’ve helped us collect over two tons of clothing annually, an important step toward reducing textile waste in Tacoma. They’re also one of the best bowling centers in the area.
Paradise Bowl sports a newly remodeled cafe and lane-side service for hungry bowlers, as well as synthetic lane surfacing and Qubica scoring. Warrior Dash, the world’s largest running series, is coming to Bonney Lake on July 20! USAgain has partnered with Warrior Dash for its 2013 events to promote the reuse and recycling of surplus footwear. Shoes collected will be given a second life around the world.
We’re doing more than just collecting a pile of shoes; on behalf of recycling efforts at Warrior Dash events, USAgain will make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals. Sign up for a Minnesota Warrior Dash event while there’s still time! Warriors are encouraged to bring shoes from home to recycle as well as their muddy post-race shoes.
USAgain has partnered with Lake Tapps Gymnastics in Bonney Lake, WA to recycle shoes via the green and white indoor recycling bin. Lake Tapps has been a go-to place for youth gymnasts for some time now, and by partnering with USAgain, they’ll become a convenient stop for shoe recycling as well.
Lake Tapps Gymnastics offers gymnastics classes beginning at age one and up to age 12. Their selection of classes caters to gymnasts of ability levels, from beginners to the highly competitive.

USAgain operates over 700 textile recycling collection bins in Washington, including the one at the Highlands Center in Renton. The Highlands Center has been home to some of Renton’s best local businesses for years, and it also serves as a convenient spot for area residents to recycle unwanted clothing.

USAgain is pleased to partner with Animal Services, located at 3120 Martin Way East in Olympia. The onsite collection bin allows Olympia residents to conveniently recycle surplus textiles when visiting Animal Services.
Animal Services is the go-to organization in Thurston County for all pet-related issues, with the overall mission being to promote responsible pet ownership, to provide enforcement of animal law, to reduce pet overpopulation, to provide shelter for orphaned animals and to provide pet adoption opportunities.
Animal Services advocates pet health by providing emergency care and administering grants for assistance with veterinary care, as well as grants for spaying and neutering pets. Above all, Animal Services is a resource center for anyone who is unsure about a medical or social issue regarding a pet. Animal Services is always looking for helpful volunteers for its shelter – anyone interested should refer to the Volunteer FAQ.
Animal Services’ partnership with USAgain will allow the pet resource center to do good for the environment, too. Anyone is welcome to stop by and recycle unwanted clothing, shoes or other textiles. Animal Services also accepts donations of dry, high-quality pet food.

USAgain is pleased to partner with Wee Love Learning, a non-profit early childhood learning center located at 1835 Cooper Point Road in Olympia. The partnership provides the Olympia community with a convenient option to recycle unwanted clothing in addition to educating children on the importance of recycling.
Wee Love Learning opened in April 2011 and provides full and part-time childcare for children between the ages of 4 weeks to 12 years old. The learning center is dedicated to every child’s healthy development and offers scholarships for low-income families who don’t qualify for childcare assistance. Wee Love Learning also transports school age children to a handful of schools in the Olympia.
USAgain’s on-site collection allows children to learn the benefits of recycling firsthand. The green-and-white collection bin is a convenient option for parents to recycle unwanted clothing and textiles when picking up or dropping off their children. All area residents are invited to recycle clothing in the bin.
